Fifth Wheel Company has gone three better than Lord Sugar after appointing not just one Apprentice but four new Apprentices.
We have recruited Tom Stokes, Lee Evans and Simon Parsonage as Manufacturing Apprentices and Tom Owen as a Sales Apprentice.
Each Apprentice will work four days a week at Fifth Wheel for on-the-job training and will spend one day a week completing theory work at Llandrillo College which will go towards their NVQ qualification.
The company expanded their team after increasing the services they offer following the opening of their new 10,800 sq ft office and caravan service centre.
Tom Owen, 18, from Rhuallt will be liaising with customers face-to-face and over the telephone, assisting with day-to-day sales and contributing to promotional ideas and sales initiatives as part of his sales Apprenticeship.
He said: “I’ve just finished school and had a part-time job working in a golf club. I wanted to do something different and get a job in sales. As soon as I saw the Apprenticeship advertised I applied for it as it seemed like a great opportunity.”
Lee, 17, from Kinmel Bay, is doing a Manufacturing Apprenticeship which focuses on all aspects of assembling and fitting out Fifth Wheel’s range of tourers and caravan units.
He said: “Before starting the Apprenticeship I went to College and did a gas installation and maintenance course. I applied to do the Apprenticeship as I wanted more experience on the practical side of manufacturing as this is the career I want to progress in.”
